Assistance Programs

Cleveland Public Power is dedicated to assisting our customers who may need assistance in meeting their monthly obligation. This includes customers who are disabled, senior citizens or meet the low-income household guidelines.  We do not fund any programs, but we work with a number of agencies to help our customers bring their bills current.  Here is a list of the programs we routinely work with. Call or visit these agencies for full benefits information, eligibility requirements and applications.

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)

Cleveland Public Power's HEAP program allows customers to pay $175.00 to prevent disconnection or to reconnect service due to non-payment. The service is offered during the winter and the summer.  Customers may apply once per season.
